Description
The combination of enrofloxacin and colistin acts synergistically. Enrofloxacin is a synthetic, broad spectrum antibacterial, member of fluoroquinoline group of antibiotics.

Enrofloxacin acts against Gram-negative, Gram-positive bacteria & mycoplasmas. It’s duly when administered orally and abruptly excreted in bile and urine, frequently as suchor as the metabolite ciprofloxacin.

Colistin belongs to the polymyxins group of antibiotic with bactericidal action especially against Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. It is absorbed poorly after oral administration and serum concentrations are generally undetectable in target species.
